December 2025: Can you say A DOR A BLE? Please meet little Miss Clarice- our newest Pointer rescue for 2025. She is about 9 months old and under 40lbs. She was found as a stray in the Joliet, Il area and my guess is she was dumped because she wasn't hunting- which is the usual reason.
Clarice needs a patient loving home that will help her learn basic house manners. She would also benefit from some basic obedience and positive food and praise training. She also needs a home with a safe traditional fenced in yard. She is a playful girl and would benefit from playful companions. She did seem interested in tweetie birds in the bushes but wasn't sure about the quail in my garage.
She is having her exam and blood work soon and we'll update if anything unusual shows up.
