My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Winston was found tied up and abandoned in the woods before coming to us, but don’t think that got his spirits down! Winston is such a massive love bug and always looking for someone to give him some attention. He’s always happy to cuddle and get some pets, just watch out for those big face kisses! Playing fetch or tug are a couple more of his favorite pastimes, as well as a nice walk or hike. Wherever his people go he is happy to follow. We’ve been working on his leash walking skills and he is showing great improvement! He can be a big goofball and will roll around on his back while he’s outside to make you laugh and will provide lots of entertainment for you and your family. All he needs is a new loving forever home that would be lucky enough to have him, so come test your luck!

Please note that we are often asked if dogs are "house trained".  The dogs are in fact living in a kennel environment during their time with us.  Even if they have previously lived in a home and been trained - the stress of the change and the new home can sometimes cause regression and require some additional training.  We feel that it's best for all adopters to be prepared for this possibility.

Visit our adoption page for details about our process, and to fill out an adoption application.  All animals come spayed/neutered, UTD on vaccines, and microchipped.  If the animals age or health prevents any of these from being completed prior to adoption a voucher is issued for the services to be performed.  If you have any questions about the animal, or our adoption process, please email adopt@littleguild.org.  The Little Guild is a 501c(3) federally recognized non-profit organization devoted to saving the lives of homeless pets.
