My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shadow is a neutered lab/gsd mix who is a year and 3 months old. He’s the most affectionate & loving dog I’ve ever met! He loves to cuddle, explore outside, & play. He’s also very smart, learns easily, & wants to please.

It breaks my heart to rehome him, but due to an unexpected move to a studio apartment & my older dog starting to develop hip dysplasia, I think it is best. He is extremely playful and she no longer wants to play with him often due to her hip hurting. He knows basic commands like sit, stay, & leave it. He is house & crate trained and knows “go to your crate.” I have also started muzzle training as a precaution because he is fearful at the vet. He can be anxious in new situations, however, he has gotten less anxious through exposure & training I have done with him.

He’d be happiest in a single dog household with a yard where he can get all the attention & play often. I will include his crate, blanket, favorite toys & harness to help with his transition.
