If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
1 year and 3 month old neutered lab/german Shepard mix who will be due for updated vaccines in February. High energy, playful, and extremely loving! He is crate trained, muzzle trained, & knows basic commands like sit, stay, & leave it.
It breaks my heart to rehome him but due to an unexpected change in my living situation and new tension between my older dog and him, I think it is best. My other dog is the cause of the tension because Shadow is extremely playful and does not know when to leave her alone.
Because he struggles respecting boundaries & is also leash reactive, he would do best in a solo dog household with minimal interactions with stranger dogs. Apartment living is NOT ideal for him. Exploring and playing outside is what he enjoys most, besides cuddling, so he would thrive with in a home with a yard.
