PERDITA NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!
Name: Perdita Best Guess for Breed: Lab and boxer mix
Best Guess for Age: 11 months as of December 2025 SEX: Female
Approximate Weight: 48 lbs as of 12/20/25 - might have a tiny bit more to grow.
Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!
Currently Living at: South Carolina shelter - needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here.
Perdita is Looking For: Her forever home! This girl has got all that awesome young-dog energy and is eager for long walks and romps in parks and all the adventures her new humans can dream up. Making pup pals along the way would be great too. Once she's gotten her wiggles out she's ready to have a place she can come home to with yummy food and a cushy dog bed - yes, those too! But you know what she wants most of all? To know where she belongs, to spend time with her favorite people, and to be safe and loved.
Perdita has so much to give to her humans - adoring gazes, love, and loyal companionship for all her days. What do you say? Can you see her trotting by your side?
What My Foster Says About Me: We will update this once she has spent time in foster care.
