Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Driving Ms. Daisy!🚗🐾
One of our volunteers had the absolute privilege of driving Ms. Daisy a few places on a doggie day out, and she was pretty much starstruck! 🤩 Daisy is a queen of a puppy -- zoomies and balls and sticks and treats...all...the...time. She has the perfect amount of fun puppy energy!
Daisy was surrendered to MOAS because her family didn’t have time for her. Yes, puppies take time, but once you tune into the "Daisy Channel", you’ll wonder how you ever lived without the entertainment!😆 And she still has just a hint of puppy breath left.🥹 She’s treat-motivated, loves balls and sticks, and is eager to engage, which should make training a breeze.
She was an easy car passenger; she just needs a little boost to get into the backseat because she’s petite. She's quiet. I have never heard her bark. Daisy made me laugh more times than I can count today. 😆 She met another dog while we were out and did great, and she was friendly with every person she met. No accidents in the car or indoors either.
Sadly, little black puppies are often overlooked at our shelter and end up growing up here. Daisy deserves a much happier start to her new year. Please call the shelter at (706) 795-2868 to schedule a meet and greet.
Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter is a non-profit shelter serving over 720 square miles. We are open intake, meaning we can not turn away animals from either county we serve. Our shelter intakes double or triple it's capacity every month so it is essential we place animals quickly into adoptive homes. Since so many animals enter the shelter we often don't have enough volunteers to write an individual bio for each. Please feel free to call the shelter Wednesday-Sunday to inquire about the animal you are interested in. 706-795-2868.
Viewing and adoption hours at our shelter are Wednesday through Sunday from 12 PM to 5 PM. All adoption fees include age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, and spay or neuter, microchip, and adoption packet. Fees: Dogs over 6 months old: $100 Puppies under 6 months: $200. Cats and Kittens are $75 ($65 without microchip).
For your convenience you can fill out an adoption application for any of our current residents at www.moaspets.com. Join us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/moaspets. It's a great way to stay up to the minute on the furry 4 legged friends we have looking for a loving forever home. We are located at: 1888 Colbert Danielsville Rd Danielsville, GA 30633 706-795-2868
NOTE: Our adoptions are first come first served, simply filling out an application does not mean the animal will be held for you, you must come meet the animal in person in order to be considered for adoption. If you rent you must bring your lease or a letter from your landlord stating you may adopt.
