My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Haggar, the ultimate furry friend and the perfect addition to any family!

This incredible 1-and-a-half-year-old Labrador Mix has a heart of gold and a playful spirit that will keep you smiling. Haggar is an affectionate and loyal boy who just adores people and is always up for some fun. He's a real comedian and will keep you laughing with his silly antics. But don't be fooled by his goofy nature, Haggar is also an intelligent boy who is food motivated and picks up basic manners and cues quickly. He's a fast learner and has been an absolute joy to his foster family, quickly settling into a routine and showing off his good manners.

Haggar walks beautifully on a leash, is crate trained, and house trained – a dream come true! Haggar is an athletic pup who loves to stay active and would be the perfect companion for adventures and walks. He's also happy to relax and cuddle, always eager to please his people. He gets along swimmingly with other dogs, so if you already have a furry friend, Haggar would be thrilled to meet them! He's a social butterfly who just wants to be everyone's friend.

Haggar has been on a journey to health and is now thriving. When he first came to Genesee County Animal Control, he was emaciated, but with love and care, he has gained the weight he needed and is now a happy, healthy boy.

A home with children over 8 years old, someone not gone long hours, and an active family would be best for this handsome hunk! Haggar is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative, and receives monthly prevention.

Haggar is not at PAR but in a foster home, so if you are interested, please fill out our volunteer application for preapproval to set up a meet and greet!
