My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Casper!

This 1-year-old Rottweiler/Labrador mix is the total package — handsome, friendly, and full of heart. Weighing in at 52 lbs, Casper is the perfect medium-large buddy for adventures, playtime, and plenty of affection.

Casper is incredibly social and gets along wonderfully with his humans and other dogs.

He’s great with kids and has a gentle, playful nature. He loves giving hugs and thrives on attention and connection.

He’s crate trained, potty trained, and listens very well. Casper walks beautifully on a leash and would love an active home, ideally with another dog to match his puppy energy and playful spirit.

If you’re looking for a loving, loyal companion who’s ready to be your best friend, Casper might just be your perfect match!

He is located in Houston, TX and can be transported to most states for a $300 fee.

More about this rescue

Hi, I am the founder of Waiting Under the Willow Foundation, also known as W.U.W.F. We work hard at trying to find homes for dogs that are homeless or scheduled to be euthanized at Harris County Animal Shelter. There are so many dog out there that are so loving and deserving of a good home. My hopes is that more people will open their hearts and homes to some of these sweet dogs❤️. Rescue dogs make the best pets!!!
