Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Onion. She appropriately named since this little lady has many layers to peel away! She came to the Alliance as a small kitten with five siblings (mom was TNR’d). She was living under a small wood-slatted porch where they were born. All of her siblings have been adopted, now it is her turn! She is so funny—she LOVES other cats (and would honestly do best with another one in her new home), fine with dogs and really loves men. She is the most vocal (in a cute way, not an annoying one) kitten that the fosters parents have had, she will have a full-on conversation with you. She loves to play, uses the litter box perfectly and is fully vetted until next year. She is not great getting picked up, but that should come in time. She really blossoms once she settles in and loves to purr and cuddle. She would not do well in a home with small kids. She would do best with someone that speaks “cat” and will help her peel away those layers, please ask about her today!

Adoptable animals are located at our Taft Campus at 2200 N Taft Hill Rd, Fort Collins, CO 80524 or for more info call 970-484-8516.
The first step to adopting a cat or dog from Animal Friends Alliance is to fill out an adoption questionnaire. You can do this online!
The next step is to pick out a cat or dog! Check out our adoptable cats and adoptable dogs for pictures and short descriptions or come into the shelter at our Taft Hill campus. We also have adoptable cats at many offsite locations.
Note: not all available cats and dogs reside at our campuses. Some are at off-site adoption partners or in foster homes. If you are interested in a particular cat or dog, please call our shelter at (970) 484-8516 to find out about their current status and location.
We do not ship animals. You are required to come and meet your new addition prior to adoption so that we can ensure a good match.
Please note that we will make a copy of the adopters’ State ID card, Driver’s License or passport at the time of adoption.
