If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Sean is 8 years old and his birthday is December 11th. He is very sociable and loving towards people, but gets overstimulated with loud noises over long periods of time and if he is not given a quiet place to calm down he becomes aggravated and defensive. He likes to lay in the windows in the sun and look outside at the wildlife, although he might sleep a lot, he is also very playful. He used to have a cat friend that he raised from a kitten (he helped raise a lot of foster kittens) but unfortunately with our first move we could not bring them both as he belonged to my friend. I tried to introduce him to a new young cat but the new cat became aggressive and started a very big fight that I had to separate, and ever since then Sean has been jumpy around other cats. He is declawed so he has to use specific types of litter as to not cause infections in his paws. He has problems with crystals growing in his bladder and needs to take medication as well as medicated food.
