My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Remmington !

I’m a 4-month-old black puppy with a sweet spirit and a strong will to keep moving forward. My siblings and I were rescued from a very difficult situation and later transferred here by another organization so we could have a safe, loving future. Thanks to that second chance, I’m now learning what it means to feel secure and cared for.

Despite my rough start, I’m a gentle, loving, and curious boy. I’m still very much a puppy, learning manners, building confidence, and discovering how fun toys, playtime, and affection can be. I enjoy being around kind people and am eager to bond with a family who will help me continue to grow.

I’m looking for a forever home that understands I may need a little patience and lots of love as I blossom into the dog I’m meant to be. If you’re someone who believes in second chances and wants a loyal companion, I’d love to meet you. Adopt me today!

More about this shelter

The Oahu SPCA was founded in April of 2009 and launched its mission, "Every healthy, treatable animal will find a forever home." The overwhelming support of community members was instrumental in helping to establish the first animal shelter in the state of Hawaii with a "no-kill philosophy." On July 18, 2009, 432 animals were relinquished to the Oahu SPCA the Largest Animal Rescue in the history of Hawaii. The Oahu SPCA rescued all 432 animals in 48 hours after the owner of an animal sanctuary in Waianae passes away.
