Roo is a scaredy cat bully. She is hyper alert and will jump at the first leaf of fall. She will not tolerate being picked up but will jump in your lap once she gets to know you. She gets excited and out of control at times for 15 to 45 minutes. When we come home she is very excited and jumps on us for the first 5 or 10 minutes. She pulls on the leash initially and relaxes on a long walk. She bites if picked up or grabbing foot. She needs companionship and will jump in my lap. She takes Reconcile daily. After bathing she will not tolerate toweling or blow drying. She is difficult to groom. She bites only when threatened.
My daughter got her from a NC breeder in August on 2021. They had a baby girl in Feb of 2022 and twins in August of 2024. I took the dog in the spring of 2023 out of concern for the children. She needs a home with a family that can deal with a difficult dog. She does not like to be alone. She is generally a sweet dog and loves to he held and petted on her terms.
