Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Chase was born around November 14 and is now available for adoption. This little tyke is one of 6 that were rescued from the tailgate of a truck with a sign "FREE PUPPIES" on Christmas Eve. A caring woman knew the likelihood of these babies ending up in a shelter immediately after Christmas was great and scooped up the whole litter hoping she could find help! And she did find help with Out of the Woods!
Chase is the second smallest in the litter weighing just over 3 pounds (basically half the size of the biggest one in the litter!) He will probably grow to be around 30 pounds when he is full grown. He's a little snuggle bug and just getting comfortable with his new surroundings. Even at a mere 6 weeks, he is doing fantastic on his house manners. He is using a puppy pad if he must, but usually goes outside! We are so impressed with these kids! He is being crate trained and starting the day after Christmas, he will graduate to a larger exercise pen for more room and to continue learning his house manners in a larger area.
Chase is well socialized, loves humans, enjoys playing with his siblings but also enjoys curling up in a lap for some cuddle time. He's just a bit shy but he's only been in rescue two days at this point, so it's very understandable!
Chase has been wormed and had his first puppy shot. We have more to do in the way of vetting (more shots, more wormer, flea/tick/heartworm preventative, spay, microchip and rabies and more). We will be working with the adoptive family to make all of this happen! Adoption fee is $150.
