Dixie is a terrier mix. She weighs approximately 14 pounds and is about eight months old.
She is deaf but responds to love and affection and hand gestures.
She loves to play fetch with a small tennis ball. She is an indoor dog, but loves to play in the backyard, especially if her owner is present. She loves to sniff around the yard.
She is affectionate, and loves to be petted and held, and she will sleep with you if you let her.
She will poo and pee outside if you stand there until she does her business, then reward her. She will also go on pee pads and not on the carpet or floor.
She loves walks, but still pulls at the leash.
She eats dry kibble mixed with a pouch of wet food twice a day.
Her vet is Main Street Vets in Norman OK
My daughter is terribly allergic to her, and Dixie quarrels with our old Maltese, and vice versa.
Hardly ever barks.
A cuddle bug full of affection. She will be your best friend if you let her.
