Courtesy Post: My name is Sox and I’m about 10 months old. I was outside in the cold, scared and hungry. I appeared on someone’s porch and she turned out to be a cat foster. Just my luck I picked the right house!
She trapped me and had me neutered. She was so excited when she realized I was friendly, so she didn’t have to put me back outside. She kept me warm inside and took care of me.
I would be great for someone who would like a lap cat. My favorite thing to do is sit on your lap and make biscuits and chill. I also like to lay by the window and look outside. I am okay with being picked up and held.
I’m pretty independent and like to do my own thing and chill most of the time, so I would probably do best in a home with older kids.
I’m not bothered by other cats. When I meet them, I act like I don’t care. Hissing isn’t in my vocabulary.
I get a little nervous when doing new things like going to the vet, but I have learned that I am really brave. I just need someone to be patient with me.
I like to have water and dry food around all the time to nibble on, and I also enjoy some soft pate.
When you bring me to my forever home, I prefer to have my own room set up for me, so I can gradually get the feel for my new home. My cat friends and I always do best with slow introductions. Corrently
