Are you looking for a playmate for your current cat? Well, you stopped on the right post! I love other cats!

I’m also a lap cat. My favorite thing to do is sit on your lap, make biscuits and chill. I also like to lay by the window and look outside. I am okay with being picked up and held.

I’m pretty independent and like to do my own thing and chill most of the time, so I would probably do best in a home with older kids.

I get a little nervous when doing new things like going to the vet, but I have learned that I am really brave. I just need someone to be patient with me.

All of our adoptable cats are FeLV/FIV tested (if six months), up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed, flea treated, and spayed or neutered (if twelve weeks).

Local Whiskers is at the New Freedom Farmers' Market the first Saturday of every month from May through October. Come see our adorable kittens at 150 East Main Street, New Freedom, Pennsylvania.

To schedule a Meet and Greet with a cat that your are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and, once approved, you will be contacted by one of our fosters to set up an appointment.

Local Whiskers, Inc. is an all volunteer, stray cat rescue located in York County, Pennsylvania. We are dedicated to helping abandoned and stray cats/kittens by providing quality foster care, while finding them a loving, forever home.

We are not a shelter, but we care for our adoptable cats/kittens in foster homes.
