Meet Leaf, a 3-year-old boy whose story stays with you long after you meet him. Before coming into our rescue, Leaf spent two long days and nights frozen in fear on a busy street island, surrounded by danger, too scared to move. Somehow, through it all, his gentle spirit never broke. Once safe with us, Leaf received the entropion eye surgery he so desperately needed. (Entropion is a painful condition where the eyelashes roll inward but it is easily corrected by surgery). What emerged afterward was nothing short of remarkable — a soul overflowing with love. Leaf doesn’t just accept affection, he melts into it, leaning in close, soaking up every touch as if he’s been waiting his whole life to be loved this way. He may look a little sad at first glance, but don’t let that fool you — Leaf has the happiest, softest heart. Being near him feels special. He has a calming presence, the kind of cat who quietly changes a room just by being there. It’s no surprise he’s a volunteer favorite. Leaf is gentle, calm, and kind-hearted, and he does beautifully with other cats and calm dogs. He’s not just a good cat — he’s a rare one. A truly special boy who survived the unimaginable and is now ready to give his whole heart to someone who will cherish him forever.

He is neutered, UTD on shots, and FIV/FeLV negative.
