Meet our precious miss Rosie, our adorable, petite guinea pig lady with a heart as sweet as her name!
A little over four years old, Rosie is the definition of gentle charm. She’s incredibly sweet-natured, endlessly curious, and absolutely loves to explore her space and burrow into cozy piles of hay, one of her favorite pastimes. Rosie previously lived happily in a group of female guinea pigs and could potentially thrive in a similar setup again with proper introductions.
Rosie recently had surgery to address ovarian cysts and has been spayed in our care, and we’re happy to report she’s recovering beautifully! She’s feeling great, soaking up plenty of attention from our loving staff and her dear foster family during recovery, and ready to start her next chapter in a loving home!

The first step in our adoption process is to submit an adopter profile through our website. We then encourage you to visit PARL at 34 Elbow Street and get to know the animals we have available. You do not need an appointment, and we invite you to visit us often. PARL’s goal is to assist you in finding your best match for a lifelong companion.
When you arrive, you’ll sign PARL’s visitor log, and staff will direct you to PARL’s cat rooms, small animal spaces, or dog kennels (depending on your preference.) We encourage you to spend time outside with the dogs, or petting our cats and small animals. Please ask questions -- that's why we're here.
If you don't find what you are looking for the first time, please come see us again! Chances are that we will have some new furry friends available for adoption, and one of them might be purr-fect for you!
