Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Just like her namesake, Chamomile is sweet, soothing, and impossible not to love. This 3-month-old female mixed breed is part of the adorable “Tea” Sisters and brings the perfect blend of gentle warmth and playful zest. With her beautiful coloring, long body, and floppy ears, she’s as lovely as a freshly brewed cup.
At first meeting, Chamomile may be a little like tea that needs time to steep—quiet and reserved—but once she warms up, her personality truly blooms. Suddenly she’s all wiggles and joy, eager for playtime and especially fond of wrestling matches with her sisters. Because of this, she may do best in a home with another dog to be her playmate.
Chamomile is a curious little explorer, bravely “sampling” new environments both indoors and out. After her adventures, she’s ready to wind down and relax, happily curling up in the coziest spot she can find: a blanket, the couch, or your lap. She absolutely loves attention, melts into pets, and will shower you with sweet kisses like sugar in your tea.
She does well with other dogs, and while bigger dogs might seem a bit intimidating at first, she adjusts beautifully. She’s also great with cats and kids. Potty training and crate training are still brewing, but she’s a smart cookie and expected to catch on quickly.
Chamomile would be a perfect addition to any home ready for the responsibility of a puppy and looking to add an adventurous, affectionate, and extra-licky little cup of sunshine to their lives.

More about this shelter
We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!
Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
