Howdy Doody, wonderful people in the Northeast! I am a very handsome Red Tick Coonhound mix with a heart of gold! I am about 2 years old, weigh 46 lbs, and in typical Texas style, I was dumped on the street with 2 other dogs in Bulverde, Texas. It was awful… the police and a bunch of people were trying to round us all up, and the other 2 dogs were running in different directions, but I was easier, and was the first one to be captured, immediately landing a wonderful foster home. These days, I am neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, happy, healthy, and ready to be someone's forever dog!
I am a sweet, happy, friendly boy, a bit shy at first, but I warm up quickly. I’m a nice playmate with my dog buddies, enjoying playtime or a good game of tug-of-war with anyone willing, human or dog. I am food motivated, love treats, dog toys, and being around my people. I’m affectionate and will share kisses. I love going for walks, runs, road trips in the car, or any fun outing with the family. I am well-behaved and good in a home, already housebroken, only bark to alert you, and I don't guard my food or toys. I’m good in a crate, not scared of thunderstorms, and at bedtime, I’m sleeping on a dog couch with some of the other foster dogs. Yep, my foster parents say I’m a lovable, good-natured boy who will make anyone proud to call me their own, a total keeper for sure! Inquire about me today!

Please DO NOT apply unless the entire family / household is on board with adopting one of our dogs. We must receive an application for you to move forward in the process. Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
