Meet River,
River is a coming 3yo Pitbull. River is an absolute sweet heart who wants to snuggle up and get love all day. Unfortunately River has not been getting along with the other dogs in our household. When they fight she is the last to let go, leaving one of the other dogs injured. With having mostly large dogs it gets hard to break them up, and having her safety, our safety and the safety of the other dogs we think its best she finds a home where she is the only animal. This absolutely breaks my heart, this dog is so sweet and loving, but there is so much dog behind her. I don't know how she is with kids, the youngest in our house is 15.
She has a VERY HIGH pray drive making her not suitable to a house with small animals.
River is house and crate trained, loves toys and learning how to play fetch. She gets strong on a leash so needs more work with leash manners. She knows sit, lay down and paw. She is learning place and off. We got River from PG animal shelter in August 25.
