Meet Missy Elliott. This girl is special, strong and oh so sweet. She found her way to the rescue after surviving unthinkable cruelty at the hands of humans. Upon arrival to the vet clinic with severe eye and facial wounds, it was found that she had been shot in the face with a pellet gun. Thanks to her incredible vet team, they were able to successfully remove the injured eye and the BB pellet that was lodged in her jaw and have given her a second chance at a happy life. Despite her traumatic experience, she is still incredibly trusting, gentle and affectionate. She loves being pet, will rub up on your legs to tell you she's ready for some love. She loves her wet food and catnip too. She has healed wonderfully from her surgery and is now ready to start her next chapter where she will know nothing but love, comfort and happiness for the rest of her life.

We understand the One Love application process may seem tedious, but, most One Love animals have been rescued from traumatic situations or have faced severe health issues. All of them have needed much love and attention from the One Love team to get them where they are today, ready for adoption! They have all been cared for in our foster homes where our team of volunteers works one on one with each animal to ensure they become happy, healthy and comfortable. We care very much for each and every animal that comes through our doors and we do everything we can to make sure they find homes that are the best possible match for their unique personalities.
