Clark is a ~7 month old, not neutered, 9 lb Shih Tzu.
On 12/25, we noticed a dog running loose around our family’s home. The neighbor stated he belonged to the home next to her. She said she’s watched him almost get hit by cars many times. The neighbor and I asked the owners if they’d care if we take him. They said they don’t care.
He’s VERY sweet. Loves laying on your chest and giving kisses. He’s quickly picked up leash training. He knows to go outside to use the bathroom and use pee pads indoors. He’s been seen by my vet and found no major medical issues. Lab work is pending. We shaved him down entirely as he was covered in mats. He’s been dewormed and had his first heartworm/flea/tick prevention.
He’s a very sweet boy and deserves a loving home. Unfortunately, we have a cat who doesn’t tolerate other animals in the house. We knew taking him in would be temporary. He’ll quickly attach to you and doesn’t bark. We just want him to find a good home at the end of the day.
