Meet Mia, a beautiful eight-year-old tortie with the sweetest soul. She was recently surrendered after her beloved owner passed away, and she’s now safe and cared for at our partner, the Happy Cat Hotel in Norwalk, while she waits for her furever home.
Mia may be a bit shy at first, but don’t let that fool you—she is incredibly affectionate. She loves to curl up in a cozy, safe spot, and if you sit beside her and offer your hand, she’ll happily soak up all the pets you’re willing to give. Once she’s had her fill, she’ll politely ask for a snack…and then come right back for even more affection, making sure you hear her adorable little meow so you don’t forget. Despite the loss and transitions she’s been through, Mia has never scratched or bitten—she is truly a gentle, loving girl.
She would thrive in a quiet home with people who are looking for a devoted snuggle buddy and don’t mind a cat who wants to rub against them all day long. Mia does well with other cats and with children, though a calmer environment would suit her best. If you’re looking for a soft, sweet companion with so much love to give, Mia is ready to start her next chapter.
Her adoption fee is $200 and Mia is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and spayed. She qualifies for our senior-to-senior program so if you're 60 years or older, you can adopt Mia for just $100.
