My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***NEEDS FOSTER or FOREVER HOME***
Currently in Boise boarding kennels

MINNOW is a happy, go-lucky 1-year-old, 45-lb 'Borgi'...nice mix of border collie and corgi.

We're still getting to know her, but she seems super loving to all. Whoever is lucky enough to adopt her will treasure her forever.

MINNOW is super smart, but could benefit from some training for manners. She walks well on leash. Children playing got her attention (see video).

MINNOW will need a fenced yard and active family. Giving MINNOW (collie mix) a job will help her succeed.

MINNOW will be current on her health vaccines, and will be spayed and microchipped for her forever family.

Volunteers may assist with transport out of area.

Go meet their pets

Application is required before meeting the dog with a volunteer, but the public can visit the business anytime that they are open and ask if employees have time to show the dog. We bring the foster dogs to offsite events for promotion.

More about this shelter

Owners of Emerald Street Kennels accept foster dogs at their place of business. Volunteers walk and promote the dogs for adoption while staff/employees feed and care for the dogs while they wait for their forever family.
