THIS PRECIOUS LITTLE LADY IS EXTREMELY AFFECTIONATE BUT NEEDS A MOSTLY CALM ENVIRONMENT AND A LITTLE TIME TO GET COMFORTABLE. NERVOUS BEING HELD UNTIL SHE`S COMFORTABLE BEING IN THAT SPOT, THEN VERY CUDDLY! PREFERS KIDS THAT ARE OLD ENOUGH TO BE GENTLE AND RESPECTFUL. SEEMS TO LIKE THE KITTEN AND CAT STOPPING BY TO VISIT BUT HAS NOT BEEN TESTED WITH THEM.
I`m the cutest little thing with my pretty coloring and my small dainty nose. I love people so much, but still trying to trust being held, so will get better with brief practice tries when it`s quiet. I get excited when people come to visit, so I roll around being silly and can`t stop making biscuits! I`m a little cautious at first, but easy to win over! They have learned that sweet talk makes me feel much better, and singing to me is very calming! You will love petting me, because I`m super soft, and my fur feels fluffy. I will love spending lots of time with my people and being a sweet little lap cat! I like sitting up high and watching what`s going on around me, so a cat tree by a window sounds perfect!
Since I`ve settled in, I`m having so much fun playing with my little toys. I really have fun with our wand toys, it can be with you or when they`re just hanging up to play with! I like being out now too, using the cardboard scratcher, and have endless fun playing with the toy moving under a sheet and a butterfly fluttering on top, and peekaboo butterfly toy, from Amazon! It`s okay to leave dry food out for me, I don`t eat a lot. I like wet foods best. I also love getting a few treats every day! Now you know all the things that will make me happy and more confident in my new home, and I can hardly wait to become the best of friends and be part of a new family!

More about this shelter
The Colony Animal Services strives to protect andTCAS LOGO-UPDATED nurture The City of The Colony’s lost, homeless, abused, injured, and sick pets. We seek to provide animals the opportunity to be reclaimed, adopted, rehabilitated, or rescued. It is the mission for the Animal Service Officers and volunteers to pursue a positive synergy and to serve the citizens and pets of The Colony.
Animal Services is committed to saving each and every animal that comes into our care. Over the last few years, we have improved our live release rate to 97%. We hold our standards high at keeping this percentage, and in doing so, we ask our rescue partners and citizens to help us pursue finding our animals forever homes.
Every year, we get over a hundred injured and sick animals that need our help. In order for us to help them, we use our donated medical fund to give them the proper care and treatment they need. The only way for us to provide this needed medical care is through our generous financial donors. Every penny donated is sent to our medical fund. Please help us continue this much needed medical care for our animals by donating. Even if you cannot donate, it is a huge help to share posts on social media.
