What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Nallie came into our care unexpectedly after her previous owner and his family were deported. We took her in to keep her safe, but with four dogs and one cat already in our home, we haven’t been able to give her the space and consistency she needs. She is estimated to be about 1.5-2 years old, full of energy, and still very much in her adolescent stage.
We are looking for a home where Nallie can be the only pet so she can receive focused attention. Nallie is best described as alert, playful, goofy, loyal, and eager to please. She knows basic commands like “sit” and “kneel,” and she’s loves to chew on sticks, bones, and toys. She can be barky and reactive toward unfamiliar people or loud noises at first due to fear. She is comfortable traveling in the car, as her previous owner would occasionally take her on his contracting jobs.
Nallie deserves a home where she can be taken on walks, runs, and play--and ultimately be part of someone’s daily life.
