My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Beaux
Handsome 'Beaux' bansome is our beautiful young lab tripod mix! Beaux made his way to HAP all the way from Louisiana when they no longer had space for him. Despite losing one of his front legs due to being hit by a car, that doesn't slow Beaux down at all! He's so full of life and energy and loves to go out exploring. In typical young lab fashion, he's always looking for something to do. Beaux has made a few canine friends since his arrival. However, in true young, excitable lab fashion, he sometimes can be a little too much - he likes to sort of just throw his entire body to play, but if the other dog is game, Beaux loves to make friends! He does love to try and chase birds and squirrels and cats so would need to go to a home with no small animals or cats. Beaux loves meeting new people and has been on lots of doggy day out trips! Beaux would love to find his furever home with an active family ready to bring him along on all of life's adventures. Stop by today to see if he'd be the perfect addition to your home!

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
