Due to some unknown reason this kitty has been with us for quite a while. So to help get this kitty adopted, we’re waiving the adoption fee!

Kota is a female Domestic Shorthair and Tabby mixed kitty who is about 8 years old.

Kota is being fostered at Oaknoll Retirement Residence located at 1 Oaknoll Court, Iowa City.
She stays in the 'cat room', a studio apartment that is furnished with chairs and a sofa for the people who visit.

She is described as a 'Leader of the Band'. I'm a cat who does everything in a big way. I not only like to be in the middle of things--I like to lead the parade. I'm an adventurous cat, but I'll still make plenty of time to show you my affectionate side. I'm the demonstrative type, you might say. Want a cat who's brimming with confidence? That's me.

She would probably do best as an only kitty since she doesn't like to share your attention.

It is recommended that whenever you add a new animal to your household, it is done with a slow and monitored introduction.

All our animals have been spayed/neutered (or will be arranged if currently too young).
Dogs will be tested for heart worms, vaccinated against distemper/parvo and rabies.

Cats will be vaccinated against feline distemper and feline parvo, and have been wormed.

All animals will be bathed and treated for fleas/ear mites.
Microchipping will take place at the time of adoption.

Cats - $105 for one or only
$150 for two!
