My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

New intake alert!!! Meet Totoro -- this lovable fuzzball wants to be your new best friends!!

Adoption Application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat

Totoro and his Studio Ghibli foster siblings (Susuwatari and Howl Jenkins Pendragon, also adoptable!) are an adorable trio who were rescued from a trap-neuter-return event before they could be released back into the wild. We just knew they HAD to be indoor kitties, and they are loving it They have adjusted very quickly to the good life indoors and are ready for a home of their own!

The Studio Ghibli kittens are new to our foster program and we are still getting to know their personalities, but so far we're in love. We will update their bios soon with even more info!

Just like his cartoon namesake, Totoro is full of gentle love. He is still a little nervous when meeting new people, but he's learning to feel safe and absolutely loves to fall asleep in his foster mom's arms. His big eyes look a little concerned in pics (he's a cautious fella), but he melts when he gets his butt scritchies and snugs.

These boys love to explore, wrestle, climb, and cuddle up together. They are a constant source of entertainment and will bring a smile to their new family’s faces!

Totoro is ~3 months old, in great health, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. He does a great job of keeping his litter box tidy. All he needs now is his forever home!

Priority will be given to applicants interested in adopting a pair of kittens or who have patient, playful resident cats or dogs at home. He's never met a dog, but with slow introductions to a calm, cat-savvy pup, we think he could learn to love a new dog friend.

Adopt Totoro and maybe one (or two!) of his adorable foster siblings, and double the love, double the purrs, and double the fun.

Information on why adopting two kittens is better for their short- and long-term health can be found here: http://www.kittenlady.org/twokittens

ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES:

When you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you're doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee pays for a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you so much for your contribution to our efforts!
