My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Boone is a sweet and loving dog who loves to snuggle. He loves napping upside-down, happy to snooze and gently snore by your side. Do you want an affectionate and loyal companion? Boone is your guy!

I am fostering Boone on behalf of my daughter who moved to NY and will be living on a boat - not right for a dog, much less a dog who loves to go on walks and run/fetch.

However, I cannot keep Boone and need to find him his best match and forever home asap.

More about Boone
-he is a little over 2 years and healthy
-very well-trained in the basics
- he loves to play; he also likes to sleep! He will get out of bed when YOU do, and not before!
-he does very well at home alone; he has a magical bladder and can hold it for a very long time
-here is his one challenge: Boone is anxious when meeting new people. This typically means he acts very timid, but Ive seen him be reactive to men. Once he understands a person is friendly, he is just fine. He loves people; but some patience is needed.
