Meet Deacon! This move in ready sweet boy is a domestic short hair black and white kitten. He was born 10/4/25.
Deacon is just the sweetest little boy. He is very social. If you spend time with him, he loves you even more! He will follow you all over your home. He is as equally friendly to all of his foster mates. That includes several adult cats and 3 dogs. They don’t always appreciate Deacon swatting at their tails, but it usually ends with cuddling.
For cuddling, he is there! He is good with your lap, being held like a baby, or laying next to you. When he is with you, he has a monster purr. Loud enough to say, “Is that Deacon?” Ha ha. He will also sit up on his hind legs to indicate he would like to be picked up. At night he runs around while his family gets ready for bed, but when we are ready, he’s ready. He gets on the bed, says hi to all the dogs, and then cuddles up on his blanket between our pillows for the night. He is truly a joy.

Our kitties are FeLV tested (negative), spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated, and microchipped. However, since the majority of our kitties are rescued from local high-kill shelters or 'from the streets', their backgrounds are unknown and we cannot guarantee the temperament or any unforeseen health problems that may arise with rescued animals. Our kitties are housed in foster homes in Sacramento County, California. Potential adopters are selected through an adoption screening process. There is a nominal adoption fee that goes towards the care of the kitties.
