Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Semeru!!
Semeru is a 9-month old spayed female. She is microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations.
Semeru is an independent little lady who enjoys the company of other cats — but very much on her own terms. She’ll happily share space, observe, and hang out nearby, but she doesn’t need to be glued to anyone to feel content.
Curious by nature, she likes to explore and check things out when she decides the moment is right. She’s thoughtful, gentle, and appreciates a home that understands her pace and personality.
Because she feels most secure with feline companionship, she will need to go to a home that already has a cat (or one adopting another cat with her). Any kids in the home should be 6+, respectful, and able to avoid chasing or startling her. Dogs may be okay as long as they’re cat-savvy and calm.
If you love a kitten with confidence, independence, and a quiet curiosity, Semeru might be your perfect match.
If you are interested in adopting, start by filling out an application on our website and email it to frontdesk@couleehumane.com OR you can print and drop off in person: https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal?rq=application
