Peanut was purchased 4 weeks ago from someone on Craig’s list. I was approached by a friend of the family that purchased him stating they didn’t want him as he was “too clingy and needy”. I was afraid they would dump him so as an experienced dachshund Mom I took him in. I’m told that he is 18 months old. I am planning to get all his shots updated because I don’t trust that they’ve been done and I’m also willing to have him neutered. He’s a sweet little man. I have my hands full with a full-time job and my daughter who is going to school in Washington State is about to give me my first grandchild in January. I need to be able to go back-and-forth to Washington and I don’t feel it’s fair to Peanut to board him or putting him with a house sitter. He’s just becoming acclimated and relaxing. He doesn’t bite. He’s yippee like all dachshunds and he either is friends with my cats or kind of a bully with them. The cats are older and not very impressed. He gets along beautifully with my dogs
