Home Check
This helps Peter Zippi Memorial Fund Inc with pet care costs.
Jack is a handsome young gray tabby, approximately 7.5 months old, with striking gold-green eyes and a whole lot of personality. Rescued from the streets at just 7 weeks old, Jack grew up in a loving home before coming to us when his playful energy became too much for a senior dog companion.
Jack is affectionate, social, and deeply people-oriented. He loves being held, lap time, forehead kisses, and close contact with his humans. If he wants attention, he will happily let you know, and if you hold your arms out, he will stretch up your legs asking to be picked up. He truly enjoys connection and companionship.
Jack has a lot of energy and loves interactive play, especially wand toys, strings, and anything that lets him run, jump, and zoom. After a good play session, he settles nicely into cuddle mode and is content to relax nearby or in your arms.
Jack is interested in engaging with other cats and enjoys playtime, though his enthusiasm can sometimes be a bit much for quieter feline companions. The good news is that Jack reads social cues well and will back down respectfully if another cat expresses discomfort. He would likely do best with a confident, playful cat who enjoys interaction, or as an only cat where he can be the center of attention.
Like many young cats, Jack can become overstimulated at times and appreciates a home that understands cat body language and the importance of balancing play with rest. With routine, enrichment, and thoughtful interaction, Jack continues to show growth and maturity.
Jack is a loving, engaging young cat with a big heart and even bigger potential. He is ready for a home that enjoys play, affection, and a cat who wants to be part of everyday life.
