If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Tank was adopted in 2017 from a YAPS shelter in Southern California. He was believed to be one years old at the time of adoption. He is a calm dog, well established. He is compatible with humans and even children. Tank would thrive and be a great pet for a family or an older adult. Tank is best for being the only dog in the house. Although, he does great in doggy day care and dog kennels with other dogs that are not in his home. He is house trained and understands established routines, responds to food-based rewards. Tank is also great with grooming, car rides and any personal care.
Tank is highly food motivated and requires strict food management, as he will attempt to access food in unsafe ways if not supervised.
