Meet Jax and Venus, a dynamic duo of siblings who are ready to embark on a new adventure together.
They are a bonded pair of brother and sister who are looking for a forever home where they can thrive.
Three years ago, they were adopted by a man who, despite his best intentions, found himself unable to provide the attention they so desperately craved due to his demanding work schedule.
As a result, Venus began to act out by chewing on household items, while Jax started pouncing on his sister. In an effort to address the situation, their owner attempted to keep them confined to one room, which only served to exacerbate their stress and frustration. The situation continued to deteriorate, with the cats becoming increasingly desperate for attention and freedom.
The cats are left alone and are craving attention
However, after a heart-to-heart with their owner, it became clear that giving them free rein of the house was the key to unlocking their happiness. With their owner working from home for the past week, Jax and Venus have blossomed, and it has become apparent that they require more attention than their current owner can provide.
As a result, he has made the difficult decision to rehome them, and we are committed to finding them a new forever home where they will receive the 24/7 attention they so rightly deserve.
Venus is a stunning black female cat, while Jax is a handsome black and white male cat. Both four years old, they share a deep affection for human attention and will lavish you with affection given the opportunity.
They are playful, lovable, and enjoy nothing more than lounging in the sun, gazing out the window, or scaling the heights of a cat tree or shelf.
Venus, in particular, is a shoulder cat who will happily perch on your shoulder and snuggle up contentedly.
Both cats adore toys and tunnels, and their playful antics are sure to bring joy to their new owners.
We are eager to find Jax and Venus a new home where they can flourish and receive the love and attention they so deserve
They are up-to-date on their vaccinations, spayed and neutered, microchipped, and FIV/FELV negative.
While they have not been around other cats for some time, a gradual introduction to new feline friends would be necessary to ensure a harmonious household.

A rescue volunteer will visit your home to make sure it is a good fit with our adoptable cat

Once your home check is approved we will delivery your new cat
Additional adoption info
To adopt a pet the first step is filling out a application where we ask basics on previous pet ownership, references for veterinary care and reasons for wanting to adopt. Our fee for cats/kitten adoption is 180.00 per pet which is not refundable, however any pet adopted through our organization which cannot stay in the home for any reason is able to be returned to our rescue group. Following approval of application we require a home visit to assure the basic necessities for the animal are in place and that its a safe environment. If approved the new adopters are able to adopt the cat
