My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tyson: Your Future Best Friend! 🐾

Tyson's story has had some ups and downs. After being adopted in March and spending nine months in a loving home, this sweet boy has found himself back at the shelter. This poor guy just can't seem to catch a break-but we know the right home is out there for him!

Tyson is the perfect "shop dog"-he loves being with his person and feeling safe. Crowds and other dogs aren't his thing, so if you can respect that, Tyson will truly be the definition of "man's best friend."

He's a laid-back couch potato who prefers snuggles over adventures. Tyson thrives in a calm, adult-only home and would do best as the only dog. He's had a rough past and even overcame surgery for a severe ear infection, but through it all, he's remained a sweet, loyal boy who just wants someone to love him forever.

If you're looking for a chill companion who will stick by your side and shower you with love, Tyson is your guy. Please submit an online application-he's ready for his happy ending! 💖🐶

*Please note - Dog meets are by appointment only. If you are interested in meeting Tyson, the first step is to complete your online application. Staff will contact the approved applicant to discuss further.

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.
