My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you’ve ever wished for a cat that acts more like a puppy, meet Tux. This incredibly silly, adventurous young boy is all about fun, affection, and being right in the middle of whatever you’re doing. At around 1.5 years old, Tux is bursting with playful energy and a great sense of humor. He’s the kind of cat who will make you laugh every single day.

Tux loves attention and thrives on being close to his people. He’s affectionate, social, and fearless, always ready to explore, play, or tag along like a little shadow. He’s wonderful with other cats, adores everyone he meets, and would do especially well with children or an active family looking for a constant companion. Born on a farm in Jeffersonville, Tux is up for adoption alongside his brother Chives, but he’ll happily steal your heart all on his own. If your home is missing a fun-loving little buddy, Tux is ready to fill that role perfectly.

Go meet their pets

Any one is welcome to come and visit. An appointment would need to be made which is better done by phone. I am not always available to answer the phone but will call back as soon as I possibly can.

More about this rescue

Rocky's Refuge Inc. came into being because of the huge number of feral, stray and dumped cats in our area. We concentrate on trapping, neutering and releasing these cats and we try to find homes for those who will make suitable pets.
