My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Peanut – a gentle senior girl who’s longing for a lap to call her own!

Peanut is approximately 8 years old. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines.

Peanut is a sweet, affectionate senior who truly loves being close to her people. After losing her owner, Peanut found herself starting over through no fault of her own. She’s handled this transition with grace and love, and now she’s hoping for a forever home where she can finally settle in and feel secure for the rest of her days.

Peanut craves attention and connection and will let you know she’s ready for love. Whether she’s curled up in your lap, soaking up pets, or chatting back to you with her soft, sweet meows, Peanut just wants to be near her person. She’s the kind of cat who makes you feel chosen.

She also enjoys peaceful moments watching birds, squirrels, and chipmunks from the window, or relaxing on her cat tower. Peanut will play with toys occasionally and gets along well with other low-energy cats, but her favorite thing by far is one-on-one attention. She needs more love than we can give her here and she truly deserves to be someone’s priority.

Peanut is looking for a calm, affectionate home where she can be cherished and given the attention she so deeply wants. As a senior, she deserves comfort, consistency, and a happily ever after filled with love.

Additional adoption info

If you see an animal you are interested in, please email info@fixingtheunbroken.com

An application, veterinarian reference, and home check are required for each prospective foster / adopter.

There is an adoption fee of $125 for animals under 1 year of age and $100 for each animal 1 year and older. This fee helps cover the cost of vaccines, spay/neuter, and a microchip. Each animal in our rescue receives medical care from a veterinarian from the day they enter the rescue until the day they are adopted. This adoption fee covers only a small fraction of overall medical costs.

Fixing the Unbroken reserves the right to decline any foster or adoption for any reason.
