Meet Banx – the goofball who chose joy after everything he’s been through.
Banx is a good boy with a heart as big as his fluffy frame. This sweet boy was pulled from BARC Animal Shelter in Houston after landing on the euthanasia list, and we are so grateful he got his second chance. Before that, Banx had wandered onto someone’s property where he was shot in the face. Animal control picked him up, he received medical care at the shelter, and despite everything, his spirit never broke.
Since coming to his foster home, he has done nothing but thrive.
He is goofy, playful, and full of life. Banx loves to romp around, burn off some energy, and then happily settle down for snuggles and affection. He’s incredibly sweet, loyal, and people-focused — the kind of dog who bonds deeply and just wants to be near his humans. Whether it’s playtime in the yard or relaxing at your feet, Banx is all in.
He has a fun, joyful personality and would make an amazing family companion. Banx is the perfect mix of playful and loving, and he’s ready to leave his past behind and start the next chapter with a forever family who will cherish him the way he deserves.
