Hi there! My name is Carson, and I’m a handsome black cat with a gentle heart and a quiet soul. I might be a little shy when we first meet, but please don’t let that fool you, I’m very sweet once I feel safe with you.
I’ll be honest: it took my foster family some time to earn my trust. I like to take things slow, and I need patience and kindness before I’m ready for pets. But once you put in the time, I promise I’m worth the wait.
When I decide you’re my person, I turn into a total lover boy who enjoys affection and being near you.
I love playing with toys and having fun with my foster siblings, it really helps me come out of my shell. Watching me gain confidence is pretty special, and my foster family says I’m a wonderful boy with so much love to give.
If you’re someone who understands that the best bonds take time, I might be the perfect cat for you. Give me patience, and I’ll give you my heart.
I am fully vetted: neutered, microchipped, FIV & FeLV negative, and up-to-date on all my vaccinations. I require an indoor-only home and, as with all cats — absolutely no declawing.

Since Furball Farm gives many cats forever homes they are always in need of Scoopable cat Litter, canned cat food, and cleaning supplies. Items purchased at PetSmart in Faribault can be left at the store and they will contact us for pick up. We appreciate any help we can get and so do the cats!!! Thank you!!

Our goal is to be a sanctuary for cats who are not adoptable and to find loving homes for those who are. We welcome you to visit our sanctuary to snuggle with our furballs. You may even end up going home with one...or two!!!
You always need to remember our cats come with baggage. Lots of them were treated badly by people and it has taken time for them to trust us. They may need to come out of their shells once you adopt them. You need to give them time to see you are not going to hurt them. We love our Furballs and want good homes for all of them. Please remember it is all about the cats for us.
We only adopt out our Furballs to people within 2-3 hours of our sanctuary because of the baggage they come with. This does not include some of the cats in foster care (contact their foster parents for more information).
