Gus is a handsome and sweet, eight-year-old, 11-pound, male green-eyed silver tabby looking for a loving guardian.
Everyone who looks at Gus says … wow … Look at those big green eyes.
Gus lost his home due to his human dad’s dementia diagnosis.
He is well-behaved in the home and uses his litter box like a good boy.
He’s been in rescue for six weeks and has already lost a pound. He’s switched from an all dry-food diet, to a healthier mostly canned-food diet.
Gus takes a minute to warm up, but when he does he loves his people. He loves to be held and purrs away. He loves his scratching pad and catnip toys.
He is healthy neutered, up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccines, micro-chipped and virus-tested negative.
To meet and possibly adopt Gus, please fill out an adoption application https://friendsofpetraits.com/cat-adoption-application/
After the application is complete, please contact friendsofpetraits@gmail.com to schedule an appointment to meet him.
His adoption fee of $175 benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue. He is currently being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.
