Fiera is a 8-month-old, goofy kitten looking for her forever home!
Fiera is the biggest goofball kitten you will ever meet. She loves early-morning zoomies, wrestling, and exploring everything she can get her paws on!
She is quite rough-and-tumble, but she's one tough cookie, and you will truly find yourself laughing and smiling most moments of the day when it comes to this fearless gal and her antics.
Fiera is an energetic girl. In the mornings—even when the house is still—she is not! She loves to explore anything she can find, and once you’re awake, she’ll be bolting back and forth across the room at every move you make. It is the sweetest thing to witness—she is always having a blast.
During the day, she tends to nap for a few hours here and there, but whenever she gets the chance, she loves to play and wrestle.
This adorable gal currently lives in an apartment with two adults, one dog, and no children. She will definitely thrive in an environment with a dog who loves to play a little “ruff”! She constantly tries to engage the dog in her foster home. She also likes to play in full-on “tuff-kitten” mode with her humans; they usually lightly wrestle with her, which she adores. She loves to explore, so a space where she is free to safely roam and investigate will suit her best.
Fiera is extremely inquisitive about chewing on things she isn’t always supposed to, so make sure to keep things like flowers, plastic bags, and anything chokeable or hazardous out of her reach. Because she’s a young girl, Fiera will need to go home with either another Pet Haven kitten or to a home with an active young resident cat to show her the ropes.

All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow-up visits.

Our animals live with foster families until they are placed in permanent homes and their foster families get to know the dogs and cats learning important information about the animals. For example, the foster family will know if the dog or cat is good with other animals or children, and will have a good idea of what kind of training, attention, and special needs the pet may require. This makes our foster families great resources for potential adopters!

What We Do
We help dogs and cats find homes with loving families through foster-based care. Every dog and cat lives with a foster family until they find their forever families. We provide all of their basic needs including proper food, veterinary care, behavior training, and supplies.
Through in-home fostering, we learn about each animal’s temperament, personality, likes/dislikes, and any medical needs. With this first-hand information, we can then find the right family for each dog and cat.
Our volunteers also educate the public on responsible companion animal care and represent respect for animals at all times. Whether we’re working with prospective new families, meeting people at public events, or socializing with friends and family, we encourage others to view and treat their pets as members of the family. We are their guardians, and they depend on us for companionship and care.
We spay/neuter prior to adoption.
We microchip all our Pet Haven Pets and remain as a secondary contact.
We make sure all pets are up to date on required vaccinations
We test for Heartworm and Lymes in all our dogs and are transparent in the results and treament
We test for FeLV/FIV and are transparent in the results. We believe that cats who test positive still deserve a chance at a quality home.
We do not euthanize animals unless they have untreatable health or behavioral conditions that deny them an acceptable quality of life or makes them a serious threat to people, other animals, or themselves.
How We Operate
We rely on adoption fees, tax-deductible donations, grants, and special events to keep our rescue operating. Our staff, Board of Directors, and volunteers have provided the passion and commitment to keep Pet Haven a safe haven for animals for almost 70 years.
We are committed to preventing pet homelessness through the SNIP Grant. Since 2005, we have granted more than $240,000 to organizations in Minnesota to support spay/neuter initiatives.
