Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Glyph (5 months, snowshoe Siamese male) and Gimel (8 months, Creamsicle male) are handsome, goofy buddies looking for their forever home!
These two adorable dudes met in foster care after being rescued separately from early life on the streets of St. Paul. They are not biological brothers–rather, they are the cat equivalent of two boys who met at summer camp and swore a solemn oath down by the lake to be blood brothers forever. Accordingly, their favorite hijinks include Marco Polo, tag, wrestling, gossiping, and soccer (aka kicking ball toys or anything that rolls around at top speed).
Given a little time to warm up, Glyph is basically an animated stuffed animal–he has bright blue eyes, soft fur, and loves stomach rubs, snuggling on your lap or chest, and being the center of attention. He rarely knows where he is in space, so is prone to rolling off the couch when he's in a petting-induced trance.
Gimel is a little more reserved but also enjoys pets (and he feels like velvet!) especially if they are a precursor to wand toys or a snack. This guy loves both toys and breakfast with equal alacrity.
If you’re a morning person, these guys are perfect for you. They are early risers (and expect you to be as well–after all, they have to tell you all about everything that happened overnight! They spend their day alternating between sweetly sleeping together in a cat pile and chasing each other and toys as fast as their little legs will carry them. This is usually followed by a very deep nap after a tasty dinner.
They do like to get a little more evening playtime at around 8:30 p.m., followed by second dinner, snuggles, and off to bed to recharge for the next day's antics!
Their energy levels are medium-high. Glyph is still very much a kitten, and he brings out Gimel's kitten side! They are good at entertaining themselves and can be left alone while their family is at work or school, but will be happiest in a home where they get lots of social interaction and attention when folks are around.
Luckily, they are adorable and goofy and their high energy manifests in the cutest running, jumping, wrestling and parkour sessions rather than troublemaking!
These sweet, handsome boys currently live in a house with two adult humans and a rotating cast of other cats (both resident and foster). They would do fine with kids (especially Glyph!) who want to play with them and understand cat boundaries, but also would be totally happy to live with just adults, either on their own or with other cats.
As former street kittens, both Glyph and Gimel have occasional recurring upper respiratory symptoms, likely related to herpes or chlamydia infections. They sometimes have flare-ups that manifest primarily as goopy eyes. Their forever people should be committed to working with their vet to mitigate this as needed, so they can live their best and healthiest lives.
This adorable pair would love a home where they could have room to run and get to be the center of attention. Glyph can be a little pushy when seeking attention, so may not always be the ideal work from home companion–although if you close your office door, he does just go and find something else to do, so all things are possible in the right setting!
They both love stairs, windows (especially if they can look out at birds and squirrels), and watching TV with their family. They'd love to be truly a part of your family, getting lots of attention and pets, and providing regular love and entertainment in return.
If you are looking for striking, social, chatty cats, this may very well be the ideal pair for you!
These guys are hilarious and will bring their forever family no end of laughter and love!

Pet Haven is a foster-based rescue. Our animals live with foster families until they are placed in permanent homes and their foster families get to know the dogs and cats learning important information about the animals. For example, the foster family will know if the dog or cat is good with other animals or children, and will have a good idea of what kind of training, attention, and special needs the pet may require. This makes our foster families great resources for potential adopters!

Pet Haven improves the lives of pets and the people who love them by rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs and cats; reducing pet overpopulation by supporting spay and neuter efforts, and providing resources to people that help strengthen the human-animal bond.
Our Vision
A Minnesota where all pets live in safe, loving homes.
Our Values
Excellence in service and care; community; integrity; innovation; perseverance; compassion; a rewarding place to volunteer
How We Help
Spay/Neuter Initiative Program: Providing support to end pet overpopulation in Minnesota
Owner Surrender: Providing a safe haven for pet owners
Foster: Committed to finding forever homes for cats and dogs
Phoenix Fund for Special Needs: Providing veterinary care for animals in need of healing
What We Do
We help dogs and cats find homes with loving families through foster-based care. Every dog and cat lives with a foster family until they find their forever families. We provide all of their basic needs including proper food, veterinary care, behavior training, and supplies.
Through in-home fostering, we learn about each animal’s temperament, personality, likes/dislikes, and any medical needs. With this first-hand information, we can then find the right family for each dog and cat.
Our volunteers also educate the public on responsible companion animal care and represent respect for animals at all times. Whether we’re working with prospective new families, meeting people at public events, or socializing with friends and family, we encourage others to view and treat their pets as members of the family. We are their guardians, and they depend on us for companionship and care.
We spay/neuter prior to adoption.
We microchip all our Pet Haven Pets and remain as a secondary contact.
We make sure all pets are up to date on required vaccinations
We test for Heartworm and Lymes in all our dogs and are transparent in the results and treament
We test for FeLV/FIV and are transparent in the results. We believe that cats who test positive still deserve a chance at a quality home.
We do not euthanize animals unless they have untreatable health or behavioral conditions that deny them an acceptable quality of life or makes them a serious threat to people, other animals, or themselves.
How We Operate
We rely on adoption fees, tax-deductible donations, grants, and special events to keep our rescue operating. Our staff, Board of Directors, and volunteers have provided the passion and commitment to keep Pet Haven a safe haven for animals for almost 70 years.
We are committed to preventing pet homelessness through the SNIP Grant. Since 2005, we have granted more than $240,000 to organizations in Minnesota to support spay/neuter initiatives.
