My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bella was found wandering a rural neighborhood in Butlerville, Arkansas. She was covered in mange, with pus and blood coming from the sores all over her body. She's come a long way. Bella has spent majority of her time in rescue in a home with dogs and cats, but only likes big dogs. She cannot be trusted with little dogs, and will chase cats. She has been around children. She still has accidents occasionally inside.

More about this rescue

Unchained Hearts Project was born from a simple truth: dogs deserve better. Too many in the south are chained, abandoned, or left behind without a voice. We started this rescue because we couldn't look away any longer.

In just a short time, we've already stepped in for dozens of dogs who were starving, injured, heartworm positive, or on the brink of giving up. We've seen tiny puppies needing blood transfusions to survive, mama dogs discarded after breeding, and loyal family pets dumped like trash. They aren't just cases and publicity for us, they're living, breathing beings; lives worth saving.

But rescue isn't easy. Every dog we take in comes with vet bills, food needs, supply needs, etc. It's our mission to help dogs and spread awareness and education far and wide, because it's going to take ALL of us to make a difference in the extreme crisis that is overpopulation. Help us turn heartbreak into hope. We can't do this without you.

Hope Unchained, Love Unleashed.
