My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Location: Hurley, SD

🐾 Meet Old Maid 🐾

Old Maid is a devoted mama who raised eight puppies and did an amazing job. She’s done her time raising babies, and now it’s her turn to be spoiled and loved the way she deserves.

She is gentle, calm, and incredibly loving. Old Maid has a soft, nurturing nature and would fit beautifully into a family or farm-style home. She does wonderfully with young children, is friendly with other dogs, and coexists peacefully with farm animals including goats, chickens, cows, and cats.

✨ Why Old Maid is so special:
Fantastic with kids of all ages, including young children
Dog-friendly and calm around other animals
Farm-tested: good with goats, chickens, cows, and cats
Loyal, affectionate, and easygoing
Ready to retire from motherhood and live the spoiled life

Old Maid has given so much love already—now she’s patiently waiting for a home where she can relax, feel safe, and finally be someone’s baby. If you’re looking for a steady, loving companion who will fit right into your home or farm, Old Maid is ready

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).

Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
