My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This 6-7 year old Beagle mix came to us after his previous owner could no longer care for him. He’s playful, sweet, and wonderfully well behaved, and he would love a close relationship with his person. He truly thrives when he’s part of everyday life and included in the rhythm of a home.

He’s a big cuddler and is happiest curled up on the couch or sleeping on the bed right next to you. He does great with little dogs and is also good with cats and even horses. He has excellent recall and would be a fantastic fit for a home with a barn or property, but he’s equally content as a relaxed house dog. He is currently being fostered by a family who takes him to the horse barn and he absolutely loves that and is so well behaved.

He enjoys moderate exercise, nice walks, a yard to explore, and playing ball. He prefers calm environments and respectful play and would do best in a home that values peaceful routines over busy settings.

Overall, he’s an easygoing, affectionate companion who just wants to be close to his person and loved.

His foster mom says “Baron is playful, sweet, and perfectly behaved. He would love to have very close relationship with his person, loves to cuddle and sleep on the couch and bed, loved little dogs and good with cats and horses, great for the barn, good recall!!”

Can you help us find Baron a fur-ever family?
