Meet Oliver!
Ollie is a 4 (almost 5) year old black lab mix. He was rescued about 3 years ago from a rescue that has since shut down for extreme abuse and neglect. He is a great dog inside and is very obedient. He does have a bite history with other dogs and would need to be the only pet in a home. He has extreme reactivity and sometimes aggression towards other dogs and cats. Oliver needs a backyard with a 6 foot fence where he does not have to deal with the constant stress of being leashed and going on walks. He has been seeing a trainer for a while now, and he does seem to be improving with his general anxiety and his reactivity.
I know how to sit, stay, and lay down! I am a very fast learner!
Oliver needs someone who will understand him fully and wants to take this opportunity to practice training and building a relationship with a loving but difficult dog.
He is diagnosed with Hip dysplasia but takes medication to manage the pain.
No dogs, no cats, no experience with kids.
