My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Gus Gus!

Gus Gus is an adorable 10-week-old Border Collie/Catahoula Dog mix with a bright future ahead of him. This sweet boy is already working hard on learning all the important puppy skills—he’s practicing his sit and making great progress with potty training. Gus is curious, eager to learn, and soaking up everything the world has to offer.

As a young puppy, Gus will need a family committed to continuing his training, socialization, and helping him grow into a well-mannered companion. He is not yet fully vaccinated, so his adopter will need to bring him back to the shelter for multiple vaccination appointments to keep him healthy and protected.

Gus's adoption fee is $600, and he will go home on a spay/neuter contract. He is required to be neutered through our shelter when he reaches 6 months of age.

If you’re ready for the joy, responsibility, and fun that comes with raising a puppy, Quincy may be the perfect match for you!

If you are interested in meeting him please feel free to email adoption@columbiahumane.org in order to obtain an adoption applicaiton. Once we have an approved applicaiton on file we will then have the foster reach out to you to schedule a meet and greet. For more information call 503-397-4353 or email adoption@columbiahumane.orgDecember 29, 2025, 5:31 am
