My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Baldur was rescued when his people lost their home. He grew up in a small apartment, so he is used to being inside. He is super house trained. He is sweet and affectionate and loves his people. He is intelligent and knows some commands. He just wants to make you happy and be around you. He is good on a leash. He is generally friendly to other dogs, but needs careful introductions. As is his breed characteristic, he is protective in a good way. We love Baldur and want him to have the best home ever. No cats. Baldur is the Norse god of love and light. He is the good son of Odin, where Loki is the bad one. You will Love him and he will love you. Please call to discuss adopting him.

Additional adoption info

Our process is informal and personal. Most of it is taken care of with the initial phone call and interview. I will fill out your application during the interview. Although we are very careful regarding the placement and homes for our dogs, we make the process of adoption personal, simple and easy.

More about this rescue

RedWing Dog Rescue focuses on dogs in need who are about to be euthanized at shelters around the state of Kentucky. We pull the dogs from the shelter and place them at either a sanctuary or with a foster while we work to find great homes for them or place them with adoption-oriented rescues.
